The Best Off-Leash Dog Parks in Melbourne

1. Gilpin Park

This off-leash dog park is a decent sized. The park includes several seats and a water tap with a bowl. During rain, a temporary pond forms, which may be a positive or negative feature - labs love it! But cleaning and drying them off afterwards isn't fun.

A separate, fenced off section with its own gate is available for elderly or timid dogs and puppies. It's worth noting that more dogs seem to play in the larger, unfenced off-leash area outside the park than inside it. Book your first walk with Mad Dogs & Englishmen Dog Walking today.

2. Hayes Park

This large off-leash dog area is a perfect area for letting your dog run free. The area is mostly enclosed by fencing, with a few exit points on the south side. You'll find some unshaded seating around the perimeter. A bin and water tap are located near the pavilion on the western end of the park. A car park located off Flinders Street.
